Spaced in the City!

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

The amount of events on this weekend is staggering and Spaced in the City is one of the most notable ones.

The team are hosting their first multi-arts show and it has been designed around the concept of ’space within the city’.

On the 31st of March, performers and the general public alike are invited to interact with and explore The Lighthouse. Podcart knows this arts space very well and we have put on our own exhibition at this venue. It is humble and is a fantastic blank canvas.

Now the team encourage you to BYOI, which stands for Bring Your Own Instrument. No crude jokes about pink oboes if you please, this is serious! So if you partake in an instrument then please bring it along.

The doors open at 5.45pm and it starts at 6pm SHARP so no lateness!

All details are as follows:

The Lighthouse, Mitchell Lane
6pm – 1am
£8 advance ticket @ Ticket Scotland (Argyll St) and www.ticketscotland.co.uk
Over 18s (cash bar)

Now for the exciting stuff, who exactly will be showcasing? Without further ado:

Musical performance by:
The Cosmic Dead, Seventeenth Century, Friends in America, Kettle of Kites, Robin Adams, Los Tentakills, Beldina O, Dead Boy Robotics.

Visual Art by:

Live Art by:

It’s things like this that get us very excited. Cross-pollination of art forms is a beautiful thing and this is sure to be a spectacular evening.
