Song of the Day: Saint Lou Lou

Eclecticism is a wonderful thing. We all agree? Yes? Good. Well sometimes you read a bio on a band, looks at the photos and think ‘Christ this is going to make me heave’, but then you forget all that fluff and just listened to the song.

Saint Lou Lou have been tipped already as a one to watch in 2013, I don’t know if I necessary believe in hype anymore. But, there is something completely endearing and captivating about Saint Lou Lou.

‘Maybe You’ is Podcart’s Song of the Day and has a beautiful way of making you feel suspended between space and time in places. This is an exquisitely conceived track and its production is as thematic as the music itself.

The problem with blogging is there is so much urgency. I am late on the bandwagon with Saint Lou Lou, but to be honest I couldn’t give an elf’s toenail as this has come at exactly the right time for me.
