  • Glasgow Podcart is a Scottish based music/arts website. We produce weekly podcasts showcasing the best in grass roots and unsigned artists not only from Scotland, but around the world. The main idea behind the podcast being that we don’t want to create some pretentious ‘Indie’ site and would rather expose as much new talent as possible. No matter what style, what size or how established, we believe everyone deserves a platform to showcase their work.

Last Year’s Girl’s First Gig!

Lis Ferla was one of the first bloggers we met when starting Podcart, a wealth of experience when it comes to this internet writing thing and a passionate person in her own right. She is in my opinion long overdue in putting on a gig, but better late than never!

Friday 2nd of December sees Lis grace the Old Hairdressers on Renfield Lane (directly opposite Stereo) and 3 fine artists. Franz Nicolay, Chris T-T (whom I have seen before and is bloody fabulous) and Dave Hughes are the chosen ones. The night is called Last Year’s Girl Friday Night Speakeasy and it is highly recommended. You ask why? Well if she puts as much passion and drive into this as her blog then you are in for a rare treat.
