Glasgow Podcart is a Scottish based music/arts website. We produce weekly podcasts showcasing the best in grass roots and unsigned artists not only from Scotland, but around the world. The main idea behind the podcast being that we don’t want to create some pretentious ‘Indie’ site and would rather expose as much new talent as possible. No matter what style, what size or how established, we believe everyone deserves a platform to showcase their work.

Galleries // Darkness Coming // 11-5-11

With the sound of pounding drums, Galleries launch their intense new single, Darkness Coming, on Wednesday 11th May at Glasgow’s Captain’s Rest.

Their powerful sound is portrayed perfectly in the epic 3:27 single, which has the hugeosity to soundtrack the final scenes in a gargantuan Hollywood movie, where Earth is saved by a solo space mission in a home-made rocket. A bit like Armageddon meets Cool Runnings but much better than the illicit love child of both.

David McAdam’s voice soars much like the intergalactic mission the track portrays, for a sound as big as the venues it could easily fill.

For the launch Galleries will be joined by We See Lights and Letters for a spectacular lineup to get completely lost in.

We’ll definitely be seeing you there for this one but chances are you wont see us…
