Eclectic Peel Previews: Ben Rowe & Michael Corr
Saturday, November 20th, 2010
Our biggest event to date Eclectic Peel is just round the corner and from now till the big launch on December 4th we will be bringing you the artists that are making this happen. Our first incredible pairing is Ben Rowe and Michael Corr. Ben and Michael have come together and come up with the concept of the Peel Tent which is based on the infamous Peel Acres.
Ben’s illustrations are based on Peel quotes and are dotted around the design interacting with Michael’s graphics. A mock up of the tent can be seen on Michael’s blog, alongside a poster he’s created for our part of the event (see links below).
These gentlemen have event created a poster that can be transformed into a mini tent that everyone attending will have the opportunity to obtain. Warms the heart doesn’t it?
This is just one of the pieces of work that is being shown. We must stress that the amount of work these people have put into this is overwhelming for us so we urge you to come and check out the exhibition.

The launch of Eclectic Peel will be taking place December 4th at The Barras Centre which has had a dramatic makeover and houses some of Scotland’s most brilliant vintage retailers – namely, Made In The Shade and Che Camille.
The official launch will also have live performances and some other special surprises. We will be continuing this preview of our artists and we hope that you will help us celebrate through the hard work of these gifted people the inspiring life of John Peel.
