About Us

The idea for the Glasgow PodcART is based on a Northern Irish project called NIPODCAST.

NIPODCAST (now Panic Dots)  embraced the ‘Norn Iron’ music scene and has gone on to become an integral part of the burgeoning music scene in Northern Ireland.

We realised that Glasgow and in fact Scotland has nothing like the NIPODCAST so we grabbed the opportunity to make it happen with the Glasgow PodcART.

The only other organisation that networks such a vast array of artists, musicians, photographers and writers in Glasgow is Oxjam Glasgow. Oxjam has projects all over Scotland and we are huge supporters of them however we feel the PodcART can be a more effective way for artists in Glasgow to highlight their work or to pull resources and work with other talented people.

We post weekly podcasts playing music from both signed and unsigned artists and lots, lots more. The main idea behind the podcast being that we don’t want to create some pretentious ‘Indie’ site and would rather expose as much Scottish talent as possible. No matter what style, what size or how  established, we believe everyone deserves a platform to showcase their work.

We are not professionals and we are not doing this to gain some kind of status as individuals. It is a team project and we hope it reflects our passion for the current Scottish art scene.  We believe we can help illuminate the incredible talent our country has to offer and also provide a useful tool that will allow cross pollination of ideas and art across a wide spectrum of styles and genre’s.

If you want to display your art, photography or have your music played then please get in contact. Also if you are a writer or poet and wish to post your work please send us your work as we will be adding a literature section soon. You can do so by mailing the team here or through

As you can see we are in the early stages but please stay with us and please take this opportunity to get your work heard or seen.

Belief is something that you search your soul for, you just need your heart’s help to make it happen.
