The Glasgow PodcART

Saturday 27^th March sees the first Limited Edition Ten Tracks Event.

Ten bands will be filmed and multi-track recorded across 2 large rooms in one of Edinburgh’s best studios Verden Studios in terms of space, located off Portobello High Street.  Please visit HERE for more information on the venue.

ROOM 1:

Artists: John B McKenna (Monoganon), Esperi, Iona Marshall, Over The Wall, Fur Hood.

This is the quieter room and each artist plays in the round i.e. the band plays in middle of room and this will be a relaxed affair with audience and sofas surrounding.

ROOM 2:

Artists: Dead Boy Robotics, Tokamak, Foxgang, Inspector Tapehead, Devious Beat.

This is as you have probably guessed the loud room! The line-up boasts some of the most energetic bands that Glasgow PodcART have had the pleasure of witnessing.

In addition to all of this there will be visual imagery and live drawings which will be projected whilst the artists are playing. One of the people involved in this is long time PodcART friend Jenny Soep who is one of the most intriguing artists to come out of Scotland. You can check out her work here: www.jennysoep.com

This is going to be a very special gig and hopefully the start of a series. Not only do you get to experience ten of the most promising bands on the Scottish network at the moment, but included in your ticket price is a free DVD of the day.

Don’t worry, for those of you not in attendance this will be available to buy the DVD and we will be keeping you posted on news of this.
