November 1st: Our Big Gig!

10.16.2009 | News

November 1st Glasgow PodcART will be showcasing 4 of the best East Coast artists these artists being: Yahweh, Esperi, Debutant and Panda Su. All these artists have had great publicity this year and are 4 of the best up and coming artists to emerge in 2009.There are a few added extra surprises just to make things a bit more homely and retro PodcART style!

Special news as well being that Esperi will also be launching his debut EP ‘21:21′. We are both thrilled and delighted that he has chosen this show to do so.

As mentioned all 4 artists have caused a stir this year, Yahweh played Rockness and Belladrum not to mention a Radio 1 live session with Vic Galloway and his debut album has been praised by critics.

Debutant (Phillip Quirie) has also experienced great publicity this year and this week he supported the legendary The Pictish Trail. He also plays in the band Meursault who recently supported Frightened Rabbit at Queens Hall,  Edinburgh.

Esperi is solo project of Chris Lee-Marr and he has had write ups for the Under The Radar section of The Scotsman and has supported the likes of Gomez, De Rosa, and also supported The Pictish Trail this week.

Panda Su has recorded her debut EP with Steve Mason of The Beta Band/King Biscuit Time/Drums of Death and has had airplay from Jim Gellatly (Radio Scotland) and supported Uncle Bob recently.

This extravaganza is being held at The Classic Grand and tickets are priced at £5

Tickets can be purchased here: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/61216

P.S. Keep an eye out for the marvellous posters designed by our very own Will McNeilly around Glasgow they are something quote special.
