Pooch

Scotland has began parenting a number of exciting electronic acts over the last few months and Pooch are by far one of the more diverse, exciting and raucous of these acts to emerge.
This Glasgow based 4-piece create tracks that are not only ridiculously infectious but they are as sexy as Dita Von Teese being seductively dowsed in champagne. A two boy, two girl combo their image goes hand in hand with their embryonic sounds.

‘Spade’ is a track that will no doubt excite you live as much as it will on record. A tremendously catchy song which will stay in your head for days to come, drummer Kirstin maintains a solid and tenacious beat whilst lead singer Laura punches out a monumental synth sound. Her vocals are eccentric yet ingenious. She certainly creates a character on stage that is as far from shy as you can imagine. Bassist Roddy and guitarist Steven add their fine musicianship to complete a song that would make any festival crowd jump until they dropped with exhaustion.
Pooch are an Electro act that everyone in Scotland is talking about. Their cheeky attitude and model looks are only a paltry part of the fabulous and fervent band they are. Glasgow PodcART urges you to check this band out at once!!!! They have become a favourite of ours not only because of their original musical offerings but also their remixes. Pooch could easily be played alongside LCD Soundsystem and be held in the same high regard.
Pooch are going to blow every pressure point in your body and leave you with lasting memories of something superlative!!
